Shastry Njeru works as Programmes Manager for Transitional Justice and Conflict Transformation at Zimbabwe Human Rights NGO Forum. The work entails campaigning for an effective national programme for dealing with the past. Previously, he worked for five years as a university lecturer in Zimbabwe at Midlands State University. Shastry also worked as a principal administrator for the government of Zimbabwe. His research interests include dealing with the past, evaluation and post conflict recovery. Shastry has experience in conceptualizing, designing, and evaluating processes focusing on conflict resolution, transitional justice, citizen activism, gender and conflict, early warning, conflict prevention and peacebuilding.
